Kathleen & Corey | Marigny Opera House, New Orleans LA

There is something so special about witnessing two people commit to one another their OWN way. Having the creative freedom to express and celebrate just the way they want to. Kathleen & Korey were no exception. They wanted a full blown celebration, Big Easy style, bringing all their friends & family down to one of their favorite cities on earth.

As the weekend approached, the details about the day got even sweeter — they were to get ready in a hotel that their family created/owns/run called the Henry Howard (if you’re headed to NOLA, you HAVE to check this place out!). Kathleen’s good friend was going to design a custom dress for her, there were outfit changes involved, personal vows, a second line parade. Needless to say this weekend didn’t disappoint. The best part? Kathleen & Korey: their creative vision and their unwavering trust & hospitality was amazing. Their families (and friends) were wonderful to get to know and it’s by far my favorite part about what I do — getting to spend time in my couple’s “worlds”.

So here we go…Big Easy style.
