My twin sister, my best friend, my other half got married a few weeks ago to a wonderful man, Alec. There’s no other day quite like this one. Watching your twin, the one you know incredibly well, make beautiful promises to someone, pledging to uphold their vows in good times and in bad, makes me so, so proud. I was impossible for me not to capture some of this day and the incredible labor of love it turned out to be. We had an amazing team of helpers get everything set up during the day including my friend Katelyn’s mom with the AMAZING flowers, my aunt Nina hand made each of the six (YES, six!) cakes, my aunt Ania who came all the way from Hawaii with amazing pineapple champagne, the caterers and their truly delicious dinner, the best DJ in town, Alec’s family, our family, old coworkers from Tether, little sister of friends…the list goes on and on, all of whom came together to pull this off. And of course, I couldn’t have imaged the day without Kate Price’s photography and Alec Catterin for video (to come!). Everyone truly made this day unforgettable.
The day went by SO incredibly fast, it makes me want to make my future wedding a week long just so I can sit, watch, and enjoy. However, throughout the night I was able to snap a few photos on film as it unfolded. Please visit Kate’s site for some beautiful photos of the day, she did an incredible job.
Love you seester. :)
